Christmas Meeting at Deep Sea World
a good turn out from old and new members although a few couldnt make it due to having the flu. The meeting began at 6pm after the aquarium closed to the public and we were treated to a tour of the Aquarium including behind the scenes of a few of the exhibits. The tour also included a look at the newly opened Seal Sanctuary and we got to see a short training session with the resident Seals.
The evening then also included a great buffet supplied by Deep Sea Worlds catering Dept. and then onto a free raffle that a few major reef keeping equipment suppliers got involved with donating some great prizes including - Aquarian, TFH Publications, Aqua-Medic, Deltec and TMC. The area TMC rep was also on hand to have a chat with the members about what fish and equipment they would like to see more of in the Hobby.
